Product Manager

Job description:

Analyze user requirements for research pharmacy needs; utilize knowledge and experience with chemical analysis and experiments to inform and educate engineering teams in regards to improving product design and development, as well as customer pharmacy processing and clinical research practice, to interpret these in software, and to create appropriate alarms and alerts to pharmacy and clinical staff; determine project scope; apply knowledge of research pharmacy needs and procedures to translate user needs into functional requirements and specifications; study existing system and workflow; customize and implement software products; work closely with customers to analyze pharmacy processing following software implementation to determine need for modification and enhancement; participate in functional testing of software; provide post implementation support; ensure project artifacts are created and published for future reference; analyze quality control test lab results and work with software team to improve product design; develop and maintain context-based user manuals, release notes, installation, configuration, training materials, and how-to documentation for both customers and employees for complex, investigational drug and research pharmacy software; participate in scientific conferences and present to scientific audiences in order to promote company’s research pharmacy software solutions; and offer suggestions on future product development strategy/expansion based on scientific development in research pharmacy and investigational drug operations.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, or related field of study and two years of experience with healthcare software implementation.

Experience:

Two years of work experience with business requirement analysis, research pharmacy workflow, pharmacy dispensing procedures, and laboratory process implementation.
